Planning a wedding in Midland, Saginaw, Bay City, Mt. Pleasant, or elsewhere in Mid-Michigan? Join us at the Cider & Sweaters Wedding Expo on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Midland Center for the Arts.
The afternoon brings together local wedding professionals, seasonal samples, games, and giveaways. One lucky bride will win the $500 cash grand prize sponsored by Team Titus Events. And if you pre-register, admission is free for brides, saving you the $10 cash door fee.
Prizes are a fun extra, but the real value is being able to meet local vendors and compare options in one afternoon. Here’s what to know before you go.
What can you actually win at a Michigan bridal show?
At the November 8 Cider & Sweaters Wedding Expo, the confirmed grand prize is $500 cash, sponsored by Team Titus Events. A cash prize can go straight toward a wedding expense, from a vendor deposit to another item on your planning checklist.
There will also be seasonal door giveaways and prizes and giveaways throughout the afternoon. Their values and details aren’t specified, so think of them as a fun bonus rather than a guaranteed win. No prize is promised to every attendee.
The expo also features Spin-to-Win, a Plinko board, and seasonal food and dessert samples. The games add a playful break between vendor conversations: spin the wheel or drop a disc, then follow the activity’s directions to see whether you can claim a giveaway. Each game is a chance to join in, not a promise of a particular prize.

How does free pre-registration work?
Brides who pre-register for the Midland expo get free admission. If you arrive without pre-registering, admission is $10 cash at the door. Registering ahead is a simple way to keep that $10 in your wedding budget.
Use the pre-registration page to sign up, and visit MI Bride Guide’s upcoming expos for event details. If you’re attending with a partner or friend, check the event information for guest admission details.
We recommend registering before the show rather than leaving it until the day of. It gives you one less thing to handle when you arrive and helps you focus on meeting vendors, collecting ideas, and enjoying the afternoon.
How do you double your chances of winning?
For the November 8 Midland show, brides wearing a fall sweater double their chances to win the $500 grand prize. It’s an easy way to join the Cider & Sweaters theme, so wear a favorite cozy layer and come ready to enjoy the season.
There are themed chances at the other upcoming shows, too:
- Pumpkins & Proposals, Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at The River View at the Frankenmuth Brewery in Frankenmuth. Brides wearing flannel double their chances to win the $500 cash grand prize sponsored by Team Titus Events.
- Engagements & Evergreens, Saturday, January 2, 2027, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth. Brides wearing an ugly Christmas sweater double their chances to win the $500 cash grand prize sponsored by Team Titus Events.
Each event has its own seasonal activities and giveaways. Check the expo listings for details before you go.
You can also look for giveaway opportunities at vendor booths. Vendors run their own giveaways, so ask how to enter and follow each booth’s instructions. Keep your wedding date and a few planning notes handy; that makes it easier to have useful conversations while you visit.
What else happens at the expo besides prizes?
A bridal show is a practical planning stop, not just a place to enter a giveaway. You can meet local wedding professionals, ask questions, and compare services face-to-face. All in one afternoon. For many couples, an expo is the most affordable way to compare local vendors in a single visit, instead of arranging several separate appointments.
You might be exploring venues, photography, music, flowers, catering, or other details. Use the opportunity to ask about availability, what a service includes, and what fits your budget. Browse the vendor directory to get familiar with local wedding businesses before you arrive.

To make your visit easier:
- Arrive near the 1:00 PM start. That gives you more of the two-hour event to walk the floor, talk with vendors, and take part in activities.
- Bring a partner or friend. You can explore separate booths and share notes afterward, or visit together and compare impressions.
- Set a short priority list. Choose a few planning needs to focus on first, then browse for inspiration.
- Keep track of details. Note vendor names, questions, and next steps so you can compare your options after the show.
The Midland expo also includes seasonal food and dessert samples. And 10% of all door proceeds will be donated to Midland’s Open Door, so attending supports a local organization as well as your planning.
